Flagstaff Climbing Center

Flagstaff Climbing Center

About

Aerial • Indoor • $$

Flagstaff Climbing Center is a surprisingly family-friendly indoor climbing gym for kids who like to climb things — and let's be honest, that's most kids. Two locations: Downtown Crag (7,000+ sq ft on South San Francisco Street) and Main Street Boulders, with walls up to 40 feet. Kids of all ages are welcome as long as an adult is supervising; this is not drop-off care. Day passes start at $18 at the Main Street location ($$). Parking, restrooms, and a water fountain are on site, the gym is wheelchair-accessible, and you're fully indoors with a fenced area. Weekdays run 10am–10pm, but Saturday and Sunday don't open until noon and close at 8pm, so a weekend morning plan needs a later start.

Local tip

Paw-picked by Scout

A day pass is good at both locations with re-entry, so do ropes at the Downtown Crag in the morning, break for lunch on San Francisco Street, and finish the afternoon at Main Street Boulders.
