The Garcia family has been serving authentic Mexican food here since 1958 — three generations of traditional recipes at the same Sunnyside neighborhood spot on North 2nd Street. Known for chile rellenos, sopapillas, and enchiladas. It's a $$ Mexican kitchen for lunch and dinner, with a kids menu, high chairs, restrooms, and parking, plus wheelchair and stroller access. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 9pm; they're closed Sunday and Monday, so this isn't a weekend-brunch default.
