From the same owners as Pizzicletta, and just as worth a visit. It's a cafe-style Italian spot in a renovated historic building (with an atrium-style patio) just north of downtown at 413 North San Francisco Street — breakfast and pastries with local coffee in the morning, fresh pasta for lunch. The vibe is relaxed and casual: order at the front, grab a number, and settle into a table inside, on the front patio, or out back in the garden. Kids tend to do well here — pasta is always a safe bet. Outdoor seating, restrooms, and parking are on site, with wheelchair and stroller access, quick-service, in the $$ range. There's no kids menu, so you're ordering pasta off the regular board. Hours are a bit limited: 8am to 3pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am to 9pm Friday through Sunday, so weekday dinner isn't on the table. A lovely, unhurried spot for a family meal if you plan around the clock.
