The PALSmobile visits preschools and daycares around town if your little one is enrolled somewhere. Free Wi-Fi, public computers, and a huge collection of books, DVDs, and digital audiobooks. Restrooms and parking are on site, and the building is stroller- and wheelchair-accessible, so it works from babies through tweens. Weekday hours run longest: 9am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, 9am to 6pm Friday. Weekends close at 1pm, so Saturday and Sunday are morning-only — plan around that if you were hoping to stay all afternoon. A good rainy-day or hot-afternoon indoor option when your crew needs a break.
