Flagstaff KOA Holiday

Flagstaff KOA Holiday

About

Family Lodging • $$

The classic camp-out with training wheels: cabins, glamping tents, and teepees under the pines at 6,900 feet, ten minutes north of downtown. Summer is the show here — free barrel-train rides and family movie nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day, a giant jumping pillow, banana bikes, a treehouse-style playground, and a Family Fun Zone with foosball and a pool table. Deluxe cabins sleep up to eight with full kitchens and real bathrooms; the simpler camping cabins share the bathhouse. There's no pool, but the Aquaplex indoor waterpark is a five-minute drive. Light road noise from US-89 reaches some sites, and summer weekends book out early.

Scout’s tip

Paw-picked by the KFF team

Skip the pool disappointment before it starts: pack swimsuits for the Aquaplex down the road, then come back for the evening movie. The deluxe cabins with kitchens are the sweet spot for toddler crews.
