A 478-acre preserve on El Paso Flagstaff Road with Northern Sinagua petroglyphs dating to 700–1300 AD — kids find these fascinating — and Flagstaff's only year-round waterfall. Birding is excellent too. The loop runs 2.8 to 3.7 miles with about 200 feet of elevation gain; plan 60 to 90 minutes. It's rated easy and stroller-accessible, though the surface is rocky. Shade is only partial. Bear right at the fork onto the Tom Moody Trail and go counterclockwise: the waterfall side path shows up about 0.5 miles in, before little legs wear out, and the biggest petroglyph panels come later on the loop. Free parking with a portable restroom. Open dawn to dusk year-round, and it's free. A family-friendly hike that still feels like a real discovery.
