Proper Meats + Provisions

About
$$
Arizona's first exclusively local, whole-animal butcher shop, and the deli side turns out some of the best sandwiches in town. You can watch them carve sides of beef and pork through the front window, and everything — pastrami, roast beef, bacon — is made in-house. The pastrami's been the #1 seller since they opened in 2014. Sandwiches are huge (two people can easily share), and they come with house-made potato chips. They also have a specialty soda fountain with flavors like black cherry and tarragon. Vegetarian and vegan options available if someone in your group doesn't eat meat. Craft beer and Arizona wine on tap. Located in a historic building on Route 66.
