Arizona Mountain Inn & Cabins

Arizona Mountain Inn & Cabins

About

Family Lodging • $$

Seventeen cabins scattered over 13 wooded acres a few minutes south of downtown on Lake Mary Road, bordered on three sides by national forest — the kind of place where kids just roam. Every cabin has a full kitchen or kitchenette, most have a fireplace or wood stove, and the big ones genuinely handle a crowd: several sleep six to ten, and the Hogan cabin sleeps sixteen for reunions. Grills, horseshoe pits, and a volleyball court round out the lawn. Know what you're signing up for: no TVs, no phones, no A/C (fans in summer), and no pool. The on-site B&B suites are adults-only, so families should book a cabin. Dogs stay for $20 a night in most cabins.

Scout’s tip

Paw-picked by the KFF team

Summer weekends run three-night minimums, so make it a proper basecamp — mornings on the Lake Mary Road trails, evenings around the grill. Pack s'mores supplies; most cabins have a fireplace or wood stove.
